Things families usually ask first.
If yours isn't here, call (877) 510-2865; a real person will answer.
What kind of care do you provide?
Non-medical in-home care: companionship, personal care such as bathing and dressing, meals, housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation, overnight and live-in care, and respite for family caregivers. We don't provide skilled nursing or administer medication; if your loved one needs that, we'll help you find it and can work alongside a home health agency.
How do I know if home care is right for my loved one?
If they're managing at home but struggling with daily tasks, feeling isolated, recovering from a hospital stay, or you're worried about safety when they're alone, home care usually helps. Try the two-minute assessment on our home page, or book the free consultation; we'll tell you honestly what we think they need, even if it's less than you expected.
Are your caregivers screened?
Yes. Every caregiver passes a background check and Arizona fingerprint clearance, provides references we personally call, has current CPR certification and a recent TB test and physical, and completes our infection control and confidentiality training before their first assignment.
How quickly can care start?
Often within a few days of the consultation. For urgent situations, such as a hospital discharge, call us directly and we'll do our best to arrange coverage sooner.
How is care paid for?
We are a private-pay agency. Families pay by the hour, with rates depending on the level of care and schedule, and we bill long-term care insurance directly where the policy allows. We don't accept Medicaid/ALTCS, which lets us keep caregiver ratios and pay high. We'll go over pricing clearly at the consultation, with no hidden fees.
How does home care compare to assisted living?
Full-time home care and a good assisted living community can cost a similar amount. The difference is one-to-one attention, staying in a familiar home, and a schedule built around your parent instead of a facility. Many families start with a few hours a day and scale up, which is often less expensive than a move.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
We ask for a small minimum per visit so a caregiver has enough time to do a good job, and we'll explain it at the consultation. There are no long-term contracts.
What if my caregiver isn't the right fit?
Tell us. Personality matters as much as skill, and we'll rematch you without any fuss.
Can you help my parent who lives alone but I live out of state?
Yes, that's one of the most common situations we serve. You'll get visit notes after each shift and a call if anything changes, so you know how they're doing even from far away.
